Honey Singh shooting for music album for Hockey India League

Well known rapper, music composer and actor Yo Yo Honey Singh was recently spotted at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, where he was shooting for an upcoming music album. According to a source, the singer was there to shoot for a music album for the Hockey India League.

“Honey Singh paid a visit to the BIC recently to shoot for a music album, along with Punjab Warriors’ leading hockey players Sandeep Singh and Dharamvir Singh. Honey was in the Punjab Warriors’ team T-shirt during the shoot, as he wanted to show his support for Punjab Warriors in the HIL. Sandeep and Dharamvir were also seen shaking a leg along with the singer during the shoot,” said our source.

Honey SIngh1When asked about his experience of shooting the album with the players, Honey said, “Hockey has been very close to my heart – right from my childhood days – and I feel that this is a way to promote our national sport in my home state Punjab, as well as other parts of the country. I’ll be following my favourite team, Punjab Warriors, in the upcoming Hockey India League and I wish that they lift the cup this time.”

Meanwhile, John Abraham and his Delhi Waveriders team have also been busy with their promotional shoots. Photographer Dabboo Ratnani tweeted recently, “Power Packed Shoot With @TheJohnAbraham For His Hockey Team #delhiwaveriders”. The actor, who is a co-owner of HIL’s Delhi franchise, is expected to be in and out of the capital for the league.
